Two nights ago I got some plaster (leftover drywall joint compound from when I was doing remodeling 20 years ago) and filled most of the holes, dents and gouges in the garage walls.
Last night I put the shelves together, for the shed. The plywood was almost thick enough that I didn't need to attach boards underneath. I nailed it down to a 2x4 frame. Definitely overkill. Not only is it stronger than necessary, but the 2x4's take up a lot of vertical space. Maybe I shoulda used 2x2's. Hopefully I can put them up sometime next week. I have a feeling I'll be too busy over the weekend.
Tonight I primed a wall. The outside wall of the garage had never been painted. The drywall had the joints filled (messily), but that's it. I found a can of primer in the basement (from the previous owners), that was just over half full. That was enough to cover that wall and a few more places that needed it. I never realized the drywall above the step and below the door into the house had never been painted either.
Tomorrow night I'll paint it. Hopefully two gallons will be enough. Hopefully one coat will look good. Even if it doesn't, it will look ten times better than it did last week.
