no more landline
Sep. 2nd, 2020 11:10 amWe got rid of our landline a couple of weeks ago. I got that number when I moved out of my mom's place, and into an apartment. I'd had it for half my life.
I liked the landline. You always hear it when it rings. I hardly ever hear my cell phone ringing. The audio quality is good. The sound doesn't cut out. You never lose signal. It never runs out of power. Someone could call that number if it didn't matter whether they talked to me or Cindy it was the house phone.
Unfortunately, we got too many calls from telemarketers and not enough from people we know. Like, none. My mom would occasionally call it, but that's about it.
