lazy weekend
Aug. 23rd, 2020 01:14 pmI spend all winter wishing for it to warm up so I can get some projects done, but I'm not usually very motivated during the summer. I realized recently that it's because I don't put shoes on if I can avoid it. Without shoes, I'm kinda limited on the projects I can do, so I end up not doing much.
Cindy was busy yesterday. She did a lot of cleaning in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the display on the stove stopped working. Apparently she sprayed too much cleaner on it. No clock, no oven controls. I looked into a replacement circuit board, but it was $166. That's too much for a 20 year old stove that looks like hell (the paint is peeling off the area with the controls). Then she was checking out new stoves online. But we were eating dinner and I looked over and saw that the clock was lit up again. I guess it just needed to dry out.
