Tuesday morning, we left for Holland, Michigan. We ate sandwiches on the way and got there in four hours. I dropped Cindy off at her Aunt Joyce and went into town. I had some beers at new Holland, then walked around town to see tulips. It was their Tulip Time festival. Then I went out to her cousin Pam's house, where I met her husband and son, and we drove in to Grand Rapids to see The Who. It was the opening night of their tour.

In the morning we took Joyce out to breakfast at Bob Evans, where it took about 45 minutes for us to get our breakfast. On the way home we stopped at Journeyman Distillery where they didn't have the whisky I wanted. Then 3 Floyds where they didn't have the chicken Cindy expected, but the chicken they did have was good nonetheless. Another quick stop at a Binny's to pick up some beer, and then home.

I'm very tired. Didn't get a lot of sleep last night. I was up a little earlier than usual, but the time difference makes it *much* earlier than usual.

Back to work tomorrow. Thankfully, I don't have to go to court tomorrow. I was subpoenaed as a witness to a crime. I wrote about it briefly, here: https://low-delta.dreamwidth.org/1611305.html

I'm all for doing my civic duty, especially if it involves convicting a criminal, but I felt like I had only about thirty seconds of testimony, and this is about three hours away and would have involved an overnight stay. So it's a relief to me that it didn't go to trial.
