I took the day off work. Worked in the yard a bit, planting flowers. Went out in the afternoon to buy a new garden hose, plus stop at the bank, get the car washed and pick up some new clothing. Cindy helped me cut up some firewood after supper.
We were having trouble with our water. There was air in the lines, so the cold faucets kept spitting and sputtering. Turned out to be a bad pressure valve on the pressure tank.
I'm having my shed torn down and a new slab poured. The trucks that come in have to drive across my ditch, so the ditch needs to be dry. We had two weeks without rain, so I called the guy to set something up. We just got a big storm, and now I see there's rain in the forecast every day this week. I should have checked the forecast first. We'll see what happens. Maybe it will be drier next week, or maybe these rains won't all be very heavy.
