I got firewood. Several years worth.

My neighbor Steve cut down three ash trees, because they were dying of emerald ash borer infestation. He had his uncle cut them down. He, his dad and I helped clear it all. I stacked brush while the other two piled it in their trailer and drove it to a brush collection site. I loaded sections of trunk and branches while Steve drove it with his lawn tractor to my yard, where we unloaded and stacked it. I helped Steve clean up all the little branches from his lawn. I got sunburned (isn't it too early in the year for that?). I got lunch. I got stung by some falling branches once. I got a bit dehydrated. I'm in pain pretty much everywhere now. The whole thing took seven hours.

Now I just have to split it all. That will take Cindy and me a couple of days, at least. And I have to figure out how to get a splitter here.
