I spent most of last week preparing for whisky tastings. We had Drammit on Saturday, so I had to write tasting notes. I had a lot of whisky that night, and didn't get enough sleep.
Sunday was trying to finish my presentation for Monday (nothing like waiting til the last minute), and then gaming (I died that night).
Monday night I was presenting a big tasting on Bruichladdich whisky, and of course I wasn't feeling well. Picked up a little bit of a bug on Saturday, I guess, being susceptible after not getting enough sleep. I took the afternoon off and took a short nap. I felt fine after that and made it through the tasting just fine.
Tuesday night I had free, and spent most of the night on the computer catching up with things, and further discussing whisky.
Wednesday night was the other whisky club, Whisky Head. I'm just a member, so it didn't require any work on my part.
Tonight we went to see the play, The Foreigner. It was supposed to be side-splittingly hilarious. I was in need of a good laugh, so I was hopeful, but it was not. It was funny, though. And maybe timely, given the Klan aspect.
