It's been unseasonably warm. Today was in the 80s. I took the day off and did some gardening, then went north. I went up to Horicon Marsh to see what I could see. Not much, it turned out, since despite the warmth, the birds have not yet returned. I saw a few geese, ducks, redwing blackbirds, and a handful of sandhill cranes.
It's weird to be out in the summer air, with no leaves on the trees.
I did stop in a couple of cemeteries, and had a nice dinner in Mayville, at the Audubon Inn.
