dream

I fell asleep quickly last night. But then I dreamed there was a vampire in the garage. I opened the door into the garage just enough to let my St. Bernard through, and told him to run for it. I peeked out long enough to see that he made it, then pulled the door shut. It closed slowly, probably had a closer on it. It latched and locked, and I was relieved and surprised that the vampire didn't reach the door first. But then, while I was still holding onto the doorknob, it started turning in my hands. As he started to pull it back open, I woke myself up.

Then I was wide awake for quite a while.
