Friday night, Cindy and I went into Cedarburg for a walk.
Saturday morning, I went up to Port Washington for their Fish Day festival. I really just went to the car show for some pictures. Unfortunately, it was cloudy. The temp was in the mid seventies, and it was humid.
While I was there, Cindy left to go to Indiana with her mother. Then in the early afternoon, I went to a group photowalk. Every month, the Cream City Milwaukee Flickr group gets together for a walk around someplace or other. This month it was in the town of Pewaukee. I'd never been there. It's a nice little town. A guy who is new to the area (and the country) posted that he'd like to attend, but needed a ride. He happened to be on my way, so I took him along. His name is Prem.
There were a lot of people there. The largest group I'd seen, I'm sure. Quite a few kids along too. We walked 1.7 miles, and it was hot. At least 90° and sunny. I was really dehydrated by the end of it. I'm pretty sure I drank nearly a gallon of water in the rest of the evening after I got home.
Today was hot and humid again. It wasn't as warm here yesterday as it was in Pewaukee, and it cooled off overnight, so the house was pleasant in the morning. Then the air conditioning was on, so it stayed that way. I sat outside and read in the afternoon anyway, since I don't mind the heat that much (and I was sitting still) and I just wanted to be outside. I think it was in the low eighties. I did it again after supper, and I thought it was pleasant. I read for a while, then I got Cyn, and we sat and talked and drank some wine. It actually got warmer as we sat there, since the wind switched. I still didn't mind because there was a bit of a breeze, plus I wasn't wearing much. Cyn was a little warmer than I was.
