howling snowstorm

I'm not all that pleased with this year's effort. It's supposed to be three wolves, howling at the moon. It's hard to get detail, so the faces don't look very much like wolves. And to be strong enough to support the weight of the snow, the legs have to be fairly thick. Consequently, the one on the east (on the right in the third photo), in particular, looks more like a bear than a wolf. I can't decide what the others look like. The west wolf has a head like a pig, and hindquarters and tail like an alligator. Sometimes they look a bit like tapirs, and they also remind me a little bit of something you'd find in Hyperbole and a Half.

Indiana cemeteries

These photos have been staring at me for six months, saying, "post me!" Last August, Cyn and I visited Sue and Robert at Riverhome. On the Sunday morning, they drove us around the neighborhood, and we stopped at Clark Cemetery.
