listening habits
Nov. 15th, 2010 12:16 amWe have several hundred CDs in the entertainment center. We have a five-disc changer in the stereo. When I want to listen to music, I choose for our five discs that go together reasonably well, load them up and press play. We listen to the set two or three times before changing them. I like listening to most albums all the way through. For most albums only particularly annoying songs get skipped.
I have several thousand songs on my computer. When I listen to music on my computer, I hit shuffle. I don't take the time to choose albums, I just press play. Since it's on shuffle, I only like to hear my favorites. All those "album tracks," that most people consider to be filler, sound great with the entire album, but when I'm bouncing my way through 4600 tracks, I don't need them.
