this weekend

Last night, Cyn and I went to a blues show. Five bands, playing in benefit of three of the bands taking a trip to Memphis, for the International Blues Challenge. It was a good show.

Yesterday, I finished clearing the driveway from thursday's snow. I also discovered that the source of the really strong gasoline smell in the garage was the leaking snowblower. It's now outside in a snowbank.

There was no gaming today, due in part to the Packers' playoff game. They lost, so my friends won't have that excuse again (this season).

We had marlin steaks for supper tonight. Cyn came up with a nice marinade for them, including some spices with which I'm totally unfamiliar. I think we overcooked it, though.

I took a hike over at Lion's Den. It was quite cold. The temp was in the upper teens, but it was breezy. I was cold at first, and then I warmed up. Then I got overheated. Then I was out in the wind, so I was hot and sweaty inside my coat, and my face was cold and numb. I didn't really expect to get any good photos, and I wasn't disappointed.
