the cost of freedom
Jun. 24th, 2008 11:17 pmA seven-year-old kid sees a bottle bobbing in the creek, and fishes it out. He got the money out, but had to have his dad cut the bottle apart to get the note out. The note read...
I have put in the bottle the very last of my money. meaning I am left pennyless. I have basically been homeless for a few weeks now, but in reality for some time. The $19 or so is of no help but really an obstacle. Holding on to it means I am only worth $19. So I am letting it go to free me. Then I don't have to worry that I only have $19. If you found it and you really feel like you need it, then it's yours. If you feel like it belongs to someone else more deserving, then maybe add to it. Good luck to you.
