where'd that come from?
Jan. 8th, 2008 10:36 pmI've got Winamp playing my music folder on shuffle. Last I checked, there were about 1600 songs in there. You can imagine I don't hear any particular song very often. Say I listen to it four hours a week, that's over a year before I hear them all, assuming none of them repeat. Which they do.
I was still surprised to hear a song I'd never heard before. That's because I don't recall ever hearing it before. Where did it come from? I must have gotten it from Mike's MP3 player, when I d/l'd a whole bunch of songs.
There ain't no good in an evil-hearted woman
And I ain't cut out to be no Jesse James
and you don't go writin' hot checks down in Mississippi
And there ain't no good chain gains
Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings.
It was followed up with Rage Against the Machine's "Maggie's Farm." That's a little different.
