more bugs

I'm digging up the chip pile. I've been seeing quite an assortment of bugs. Ants, centipedes, millipedes, big crickets, small crickets, earwigs, grubs. I dug up a big nest of ants. I'm turning the soil to pull out the weeds, so I just turned all the dirt with the ants in it. They're rebuilding today.

Oh yeah - and spiders. And I saw a daddy longlegs.

Edit: There are just swarms of crickets out there. Running from the mower, mostly.
