day off

I took the day off to get some things done around the house. I got about half the chip pile in the back yard dug up for a new garden. I need to mow the lawn and trim the bushes, but I'll do that tomorrow.

It's been very damp all week. Sometimes warm, sometimes not. Today it was in the mid seventies, until I went outside. Then the sun came out. It warmed up and got steamy.

I've got a couple of hours left before I have to leave. I'll try to take care of some things in the house. Maybe balance the checkbook.

Tonight, I'm getting together with some friends to play Magic. I don't really have the time right now, but I've been bugging them all summer for this. Last night Cyn was out for dinner with a friend. Seems like our plans for going out are never at the same time. The weekend before last, I went to Indiana. The weekend before that, she went to Michigan. It would have been nice if we could planned for them on the same weekend.
