moving day
Apr. 18th, 2007 03:35 pmI just moved into a new cubicle, at work. It's going to take a little getting used to. It's a tiny bit smaller, and I'm on the left side instead of the right side. And my monitor is not in the corner. And the drawers are farther away. And I'm not facing into the corner, so there are more visual distractions. And my back is open to an aisle, so people can see what's on my monitor. And there's no coatrack up here. And the fridge is packed. And the light on my desk doesn't work.
But the "kitchen" is closer, and my new neighbor is nice, and the lighting might be better (and if not, I can change it). And all the coughing people around me are moving out of this area today.
The main thing is that I kept my cubicle immaculately clean (I hope the new occupant appreciates it). And I wish the previous occupants of this one had done the same.
