I am the sofa king
Apr. 16th, 2007 11:19 pmSofa king lazy.
I've got a list of projects that need to be done. Because I'm the project guy. Cyn spends all her time doing the household stuff, like laundry, dishes, etc. I fix things.
Yesterday, I fixed the fireplace screen/door. It took five minutes. Should have taken fifteen seconds, but that's a different story. Today, I was to replace the kitchen faucet. I bought one. Or should I say that we bought one. I didn't actually do the replacing, because I wasted the hour after supper, then it took an hour to shop around for the best one (could have just grabbed the first one we saw and been back home in fifteen minutes, because that's the one we ended up with), then since I had to turn the water off to do it, I waited for Cyn to do everything she needed to do with water for the rest of the night. Then it was nearly 9:00, and stores were closing, and if something went wrong, we could be stuck without water (there are no shutoffs for the kitchen).
Tomorrow, we're going to a play. So wednesday, I fix the faucet. Maybe thursday we'll shop for a new refrigerator. This weekend I should replace the toilet. That's the plan so far, but considering I've only gotten an hour's work done in two days, who knows what will actually happen.
