This is from Robert Fripp's blog.
...a discussion of the very special dates that Ade was hoping to announce, but have now been cancelled. This was to be a short K3 tour, some 9-10 shows beginning in Madison & Chicago, then moving to the East Coast: Boston, NYC & Washington.

What is K3? Three Kings of Crimson: the Tony Levin Band, the Adrian Belew Power Trio & ProjeKct Six, each presenting their work & followed by a K3 Jam: Tony & Bobby & Belew with Drummer Slick, celebrating 2 or 3 Crim classics that get their passion ignited.

Why are the dates cancelled? Right in the middle of the short jaunt, TLev is booked for a festival in Mexico City; an artist advocate was waiting for final artist confirmations that didn’t quite connect; my concern that we didn’t have any rehearsal time at all. That is, communication disconnection.
Damn! Any one of those bands would have been worth seeing, but all of them together? Wow. I was rather disappointed to hear that a few months ago Fripp and Belew did a short tour (with a guy from Madison who's pretty cool to see), and they didn't come here. Oh well, they probably would have come to town while we were out of the state.

A meme, wherein I list ten songs that begin with C and I explain why I list each one. If you desire a letter which you may use to compile your own list, feel free to say so.

  1. "C is for Cookie" written by JoeRaposo and performed by Frank Oz as the Cookie Monster. I list it because it was the first song to come to mind that began with "C."
  2. "Citizen Ship" by Pattis Smith. One of my favorite songs from one of my favorites of her early albums (Okay, that narrows it down to, like, four albums. It's Wave).
  3. "Closer to the Heart" My favorite Rush song that begins with C. And the men who have high voices...
  4. "Country Death Song" by the Violent Femmes. How could I pass this one up?
  5. "Come Together" (for Seren, who granted me this C) My favorite Beatles songs.
  6. "Chantilly Lace" by The Big Bopper. A great sing-along song..
  7. "Carolyn's Fingers" by Coceau Twins. Just listen to it.
  8. "Coconut" by Harry Nilsson. I love the patterns.
  9. "Closer to Fine" the song that introduced me to Indigo Girls.
  10. "Comfortably Numb" Not one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs, but an amazing guitar solo.

So there you are.
