Oct. 6th, 2005 10:48 pmWorked my brain off today at work. It still surprises me, sometimes, how tiring thinking can be. I also worked hard building some shelves, tonight. My reading comprehension is shot, I know that much. I was in the mood for some Scotch tonight (all week, really) but I feel like I'm fighting off an illness, so I'm skipping the alcohol.
We're having company on sunday. My friend Doug and his Susan are coming for dinner. Earlier in the day, he and I are going out on a photo excursion. We haven't done that in a couple of years. Wait - three? Four? Anyway, Cyn and I need to clean the house. It needs a cleaning anyway. I've been working on these shelves, to aid in the cleaning. Since they've never been here, we'll have to give them the tour of the house, which includes the basement, and I really want to get all that crap organized.
It's getting dark early, too. I've only got daylight on the weekends. Fortunately, there's not as much to be done outside, but I still have to plan my weekends carefully.
I've got too much to do. Seems like all my free time is booked up for the next several months. And not only with work-type stuff, but leisure-type stuff too. What's up with that? I've got so much going on on a regular basis. Tonight, while I was talking to Doug, I found myself talking really fast, like I had too many words and too little time. I've got to do something about that.
