I really wanted to get the lawn mowed today. It's been shaggy all week, and it will be hard to mow. But we went over to the duplex. I mowed there, and Cyn did some cleaning and painting. I think the only things left are to finish a little bit of molding, and do a final cleaning. So close!
After we were done with that, I got the blades off the mower, and then bought some files to sharpen them. About that time, the nasty storms were supposed to come through, but the missed us. That was disappointing, actually, because we need the rain.
Around 4:30, Bill and Linda dropped off the kids for babysitting. I dug out my trains, and Will and I played with them for a while. I've got a box of Lionel trains, vintage 1957. They're getting pretty grungy. I hadn't run them since the early eighties. My set was a bit limited, so when I went out for pizza, I stopped and bought more track.
We played with the kids for about six hours. We are all tired out. I'm going to pick up my toys tomorrow.
