the sunday report

I got the supply lines installed for the bathtub. Actually, it was only up to where I'm switching from galvanized to copper. Cyn got about half the insulation put up. Very cool. I've got way too much work to do before the drywaller starts. I'm disapointed because (as usual) I didn't get over there to start working until well after noon. And didn't work in the evening.

At least I got some stuff done here at home. Cyn and I set up the tree. Gotta love that centuries-old tradition of assembling the tree. Then I spent two or three hours organizing the basement. Looks pretty good.

My asshole brother-in-law won't let my sister get a recliner for their living room. He says they're for white trash. Cindy and I have four. I guess we all know how he feels about us. I didn't have any idea that recliners had any negative stigma. I guess if one had a formal living room (or sitting room, or whatever) a recliner would look out of place, I don't know many people who have homes like that.
