state of the journal
Jun. 5th, 2004 10:22 amI'm a little disappointed to have missed my 3000th post. No big deal I guess. It's not like I can say I've written 3000 interesting and important journal entries.
Seems like I haven't been posting a whole lot lately. Last month had 42 more-or-less public posts (as opposed to private messages for Cyn or just places where I could keep info for future reference). April saw only 32 posts from me.
Most of them seemed to be of at least a little substance. A couple of memes, a couple of song lyrics, a couple of links. Most often, I list what my day was like.
I'm still here, though. Even if I don't post, I'm still reading just about everything. Or skimming. I really don't spend as much time reading as I'd like. When I read my friends page, I start at the newest entry and go back until I hit the last entry that I saw before. If I have time, I go farther back, but often I'm at work and need to be getting back to it. I usually go back online after ten o'clock and read until around midnight. Sometimes I have other things to do besides LJ, and I rush through it. But I try.
There are a few of you who list my journal, whom I don't list back. I get around to your journals every now and then, and I don't always comment when I do. I don't always comment to the people whose journals I read every day, either. I'm sure they've noticed that.
Anyway, I'm still here. Same as always.
