Here it is the beginning of April, and I almost couldn't get any water. They're doing this major road reconstruction outside of my house. They're replacing the water lines, so they hooked me up to an alternate water supply. They have this big hose running down the sidewalk, and they've hooked garden hoses to it. They connect the garden hoses with people's outside faucets - where they normally have garden hoses connected - and the people have water. Since it dropped below freezing last night, my garden hose got a bit frozen. I kept a trickle of water running all night (this alternate water also happens to be free), but when I checked it at 5:40 AM, I could hardly get any out of the faucet. It was fine when I got up at 8:00. I'm not sure if that was because of the sun or the propane bottle sitting in my front yard.
