redecorating help?

We're redoing Cindy's kitchen. Stripping the wallpaper and replacing the flooring.

We can do any colors we want, but we don't know which to choose. Have you got any ideas for us?

The refrigerator is off-white. The stove is white with black trim. The woodwork is all painted. The floor will be some sort of Pergo-like wood-grain laminate.

Other than the appliances, all the colors can be changed - walls, ceiling, floor, cabinets, countertop and the door, floor and window molding. And the curtains (they're light blue now, so it would be convenient to match them, but not necessary).

And since it's going on sale in a month or two, it's gotta be bright and airy feeling

wallpaper... ugh

We're removing wallpaper. It wasn't as bad as I expected, but I expected pretty bad. The first wall went okay, and up until then we still expected to get done today. We got over half way done. I don't think we'll finish up tomorrow either, since we have to leave in the middle of the afternoon to go buy a washer/dryer and take it up to my place. I think I'll get started on patching the walls while Cyn continues on the wallpaper.

This week is going to be rough. I have to get my place completely ready for the drywaller, who starts the week after next. Whatever I don't get done by Thursday night cuts into our weekend. That's a problem because Cyn's kitchen is mostly gone - no stove/oven, no table, no microwave. We're in a hurry to get that done too.
