Beautiful day
Oct. 7th, 2003 10:37 pmAfter several weeks of cold autumn, it was really nice today. Mid-seventies, sunny and breezy. It was sixty-eight in the house when I got home at 1:30, but I opened some windows and got it up to 75° within an hour or so.
I took the afternoon off to try and get things done around the house. I did a load of laundry and hung it out on the line. Cleaned a little in the living room and even less in the kitchen. Cleared a little bit out of the sunporch, and a fair portion of the basement. Dropped my car off to get its muffler replaced tomorrow.
Gee, that doesn't sound like much... Oh yeah, I refiled my CD's. That took a while. Made supper. Umm.. Oh well. It was still a nice day to be home.

I don't understand how a guy can be voted into office and then recalled less than a year later. WTF? Like, gee we didn't realize how bad a job he was doing until that guy with the money started pushing for a recall.
Every time this happens, it makes it easier for the next recall. Pretty soon, we're going to be picking new leaders every year, instead of every four. Someone gets voted into office, does something that a bunch of people don't like, and *boom* he's outta there.
