It was a good day, externally. Internally, it was kind of weird. As long as I was busy, or conversing, I was fine. When I wasn't, I felt the need to be doing something. And I never felt I knew what it was I should be doing that would be fulfilling.
It was a low pressure day. We stopped at REI, but I didn't find anything very exciting. We went to Stein Garden center, and bought a few flowers and a bunch of seeds - impatiens for the shady corner, red nasturtium seeds for the fence, and something yellow, that I hope grows. Then we bought suplies for lasagna, which Heather cooked. Then Cindy and I went for a nice long walk, to avoid doing dishes.
As for the rest of the weekend...
Chris Duarte on thursday night.
A Coast Guard change of Command Ceremony on friday morning, and lunch with Cyn.
Helped a kid with some scouit stuff, saturday morning. Then a going away party for a coworker of Cyn's - complete with animated, light-up metal flamingoes.
One Drum at Shank.
