there's a hole in my heart

These candy hearts are driving me crazy. The receptionist has a bowl of them on her desk, and I can't help but take some when I walk by. The last one I took had a hole in the back of it. I showed it to Julie and she said, "it's defective." I turned it around so she could see the message and said, "it's love." The first one I had, looked suspiciously like, "whip kid." And there's a whole bunch of hearts in the bowl that promote reading. Like, "book club," and, "let's read." Those are the kinds of messages that make kids want to throw the candy at people, rather than eat them.
