Jan. 9th, 2003 11:18 pmGrafton - The U.S. Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit was called in Friday morning from Fort McCoy after a military-type shell was discovered in the cradle with baby Jesus in the Grafton Lions' nativity scene on 12th Avenue across the street from Moose's service station.
The shell turned out to be an unexplosive, 165mm, concrete filled practice round for a Howitzer cannon.
