water in my basement

It hasn't rained since that big storm last Monday, but something's not right with my dehumidifier, so there is water all over my basement floor. The damn thing's been running for a week, and the water hasn't been going into the hose, it's been going onto the floor. It's expensive to run, too.

My dad lives about half a mile from this wreck. My stepmother was home at the time, and heard it. The news crews were set up in their neighborhood.
