"I feel badly."

What the heck is that supposed to mean? "Badly" is an adverb. That means that you're performing the act of feeling, but you're doing it badly. In which case it becomes a personal problem which needs practice to overcome. And probably TMI.

What you should be saying is that you feel bad.

I went to Toys R Us last night, to get something for my little buddy Will. I can't remember how long it'd been since I was last there. First of all, that had to be there first time I'd ever been there and hadn't found any Star Trek stuff. They had quite a lot of stuff that surprised me. Crocodile Hunter action figures. Muppet 25th anniversary action figures (but all they had was Kermit). Spiderman Action Hero figures, where he is dressed up in various outfits - over his spandex costume - like soccer player and firefighter and I forget what else. The Matrix action figures (how long has that movie been out? Oh yeah, they're gearing up for the new one). The Road Warrior action figures. E.T. action figures. Then there were the Addams Family Barbies...

I got a motorized bulldozer.

The proper response to someone who says "this is America. If you don't like it, get the hell out," is, "the American court system ruled that the Pledge is wrong. If you don't like it, get the hell out. Go somewhere where they'll let you practice your religion. Oh yeah, they do let you practice your religion, so shut the hell up."

Here's the downside of making a big deal out of the words "under God." Now, in classrooms all across the Bible belt, they'll continue to say it with the words, and those who dare to refuse to say them will be subject to even more abuse than they were before.
