Man, it's hot

The heat doesn't usually bother me very much. Of course I'm home sick today, so that probably makes it worse. My mom asked if I had a fever. In this heat, a fever would just be redundant.

I've got my fans on. I had them on high all night, and I think that's the first time I've done that this year. Saturday morning I woke up with that sick feeling in my throat. It went away when I was out with Cyn, but when I got home in the afternoon my head started bothering me. It was slightly worse yesterday. Today I woke up with a very sore throat. I was rather tired so I decided I felt bad enough to stay home. I'm going camping on thursday night, so I hope I feel better by then.

Is anyone else having trouble with LiveJournal or is it just me?

Why is it so slow, and why aren't we hearing updates about when the new servers will be installed? Why don't they tell us anything anymore?

I should just follow Dave's lead and turn my back on LJ until the speed comes back [okay, that souinds more negative than he meant it, but that's what it amounts to for me right now], but you people are my friends, and I like hearing about your lives. Unfortunately, I can't talk to you very well. I just wanted to leave comments on three of your posts, just now, and it only let me do one.

I'm trying to remain calm/accepting/appreciative of Brad and his staff, and of this site, but I'm losing patience. It's been over a week since I've had no trouble with the site. Well, I guess it runs okay first thing in the morning. I'd feel much better if I knew somebody was working on the problem.
