Cindy and I had a nice day.
We went over to Cedarburg (tourist town) and toured the winery. We bought a bottle of the Double gold medal award winning (everybody say, "oooohh") Vidal Blanc from Cedar Creek Winery. Good stuff.
We went in a vintage clothing store. Most the clothing seemed to be from the twenties through forties. It ranged from the very cool to the simply amazing (as in, "they wore this stuff?").
My friend's band (Battlestar Cadillactica - Milwaukee's giant tongue depressor of rock) was playing sometime around 11:30 or 12. The Reverend Horton Heat was also playing elsewhere. If figured The Rev would be an 8:00 show, with somebody opening, so we could head out of there by 11:00, and make my friend's show. I saw in the paper that the Rev was listed as a 10:00 show, with two opening acts. I decided to skip that one, and just see BC. I wasn't sure how much Cindy would enjoy the show. I knew she wouldn't have a bad time, but I didn't know whether she'd really like the band. She did. They're metal, but were progressive enough for her tastes. That, and the fact that Jeff is a really good guitarist, mad them fun to watch anyway.
