I found out about a really cool site. In addition to all the usual astronomy stuff you'd expect to find, this site can show you, for any given place and time, what you can see in the sky. I know, you're thinking, "that's why I'd expect find on a website devoted to astronomy, " but you haven't seen the site yet. It will tell you which artificial satellites can be seen and where to see them. Like the Mir, or the Space Shuttle. Or any of hundreds of other satellites. It tells you where and when they'll come up, and where and when they will be the highest, and where and when they'll go below the horizon.
Well... I thought it was pretty cool.
Now if I only had time to go out and look at some of this stuff....
It is www.heavens-above.com
