burning CD (or not)

Does anyone have experience with copying music CDs? Specifically, Adaptec's Easy CD Creator.

Why can't I open/copy certain tracks with it? It experiences some kind of error and closes itself. I've trashed two discs this way, so far.

occasionally, a track is corrupted, for whatever reason. i usually just delete that track (the last one it tried to burn) and start over. most of the tracks i have had trouble with are from napster. audiogalaxy doesn't seem to let as many bad files get through.

Once I figured out that I could preview tracks and find out if they were corrupt, I was okay. Annoyed, but at least not wasting disks.
