Cyn thinks John Cusack is dreamy. I don't think he is particulary good looking, although he is better looking than he used to be. His next movie, due out this fall, is called Serendipity.

Yeah! With a name like that, it's gotta be a great film!

I figured you'd like the name of that film! :)

Soooo....what do you think of John Cusack? Boring? OK? Gorgeous? I just want to go on the record here and say that I did NOT use the term "dreamy" when I drooled and expounded on how much I crave John Cusack's bod. ;)

I'm not the person to ask, really, having not seen an adult feature film in something like two years, ha! I'm just really out of it when it comes to most adult contemporary popular culture. (I think my last films were "Shakespeare in Love," "Pleasantville," and "The Truman Show," all of which I heartily enjoyed. And, oh, yeah, I saw "Life is Beautiful" on video.)

I've seen pics of John Cusack in the paper and on the Net, and I suppose he might have a drool-worthy body. But in too many of his pics he's wearing suits and neckties, ew. There's one cool pic of him in boots, blue jeans, a blue shirt, and a black leather jacket, but it still doesn't do much for me.

But then my idea of sexy actors includes Daniel Day Lewis, (I saw him first way back in "My Beautiful Laundrette," and OOOOH!) Kevin Kline (starting way back in "Sophie's Choice,") and, yes, I admit it, Don Johnson of early "Miami Vice" fame (that was a guilty pleasure if ever there was one).

john cusack is absolutely -adorable- to me but it's more the way he carries himself and his line delivery and the wonderful roles he is given. i just love him to pieces!

I could see that. :-)

That's funny that you mention Kevin Kline, because I spent the first part of the movie (did I mention this came up because we watched one of his movies?) wondering who he reminded me of (I kept thinking Deniro, just for a certain look of his, with the hair fopping alongisde his forehead, but I knew that wasn't the face I was searching for), then, about halfway through, I realized that it was a Kevin Kline resemblance that I had seen. Again, it was mostly the hair, but not all. The eyes aren't right, but his lower face is similar.

Kevin Kline was really sexy in "Sophie's Choice." And he was even sexy in the silly movie "A Fish Named Wanda," although Jamie Curtis was even sexier.

"Pleasantville" and "Life Is Beautiful" are two films that I saw and enjoyed. The Truman Show was ok but not as enjoyable. Kev and I were just talking this weekend about how we want to see "Shakespeare In Love".

I drool over Cusack's face and hair rather than his body. I'm not exactly sure why because he's a little more clean cut than I usually like.

Did you see "Being John Malkovich"? Cusack wasn't as clean cut in that one. But that was more of a scuzzy than the rugged, long-haired kind of guy that you prefer.

No, missed that one.

Nah, his face doesn't do it for me, either, mainly because he's more clean cut than I like! LOL!

You two *must* see Shakespeare in Love. Put it way high on your To Do list. Serendipity says so!

There aren't many movies that come out that I decide I want to see, but that was one of them that I did. In fact, that was one of the preview on the tape that we watched (High Fideleity), and I told Cyn I wanted to see it. :-)
