Last Friday we drove to Michigan. It was the celebration of life for Cindy's last aunt, Joyce. We took her sister Melissa along, and all of the remaining cousins were there. There were a few people there that I hadn't met before. We came back on Sunday after a big breakfast with most of the cousins.
It was a weekend with a lot of food, and not enough exercise. Then on Monday we went out to eat with a friend of Cindy's and her husband. I feel like my weight is still up.
Thursday afternoon, we drove to Madison where Cindy had a piece in a show. Several of our photo friends were in the show. It was a big event. They had a jazz band and fancy hors d'oeuvres. Seventy-five works in the show, and another 40 in the online exhibition. Cindy won a prize - Image of Distinction!
The weather is cool and drab. The leaves are only just starting to turn, but it feels like Fall. I mowed the lawn today. I have to do it on weekends now, because it gets dark too early to do it after work.
