Here is me with Jose Luis on the hilltop in downtown Monterrey.

And with Rafael.

We could see 180° from this hilltop, so I'm going to give you the whole thing! This first one is looking southeast. Note the tall buildings behind it. I'll talk about that later.

You can kinda see the mountains in the distance.

You can hike to the top of this mountain.

Then we went walking by the canal.

And to the Macroplaza

Selling kitschy souvenirs.

And a couple of blocks of "old town" where we were parked.

"Ambiente 100% familiar" at the Cuban restaurant.

A couple of days later, the plant took us out to eat at a fancy restaurant in the fancy part of town.

The city is called San Pedro, and it's on the other side of the ridge in the picture up near the top. It's like Las Vegas. Shopping malls with pricey shops. Here's a fancy building seen through a sculpture.

Seems like Ruben is looking at the fancy birdcage.
And that's all the pictures!
