Professional hunter trampled to death by elephant he was hoping to slay

Her comment was, "Thats a good reason not to like elephants."

I replied, "That's a good reason not to like people with guns, who are following you."

The first thing I thought when I saw that article was "good". I'm not a fan of hunters.

I saw that article, too, and thought, "Good for the elephant!"

The ivory trade is just sick. Elephants are nearly extinct because of it.

I am definitely on the side of the elephant.

The article states clearly that the hunter recognised that the elephant was in musth and still continued to pursue it. As a professional hunter he knew the dangers of elephants in musth and yet continued to endanger himself and his client.

I know! Elephants are very intelligent and can be very vicious. Also, in such a hormonal state of mind, you just don't go near it.

Being pro-hunting, I guess she care much about the feelings of animals. She doesn't see them as thinking beings. This elephant wasn't playing by the rules! Animals are there to be killed, after all.

It seems to fit that thing I see conservatives doing all the time. Every issues is black and white. You're either with us or against us. Guns are good. Hunting is good. Anti-hunting is bad. Animals dying is good. Animals fighting back is bad. Animals fighting back is anti-hunting.

I kinda feel like, that's why they call it a sport - you could lose.
