Have I complained about the weather yet? It was pretty reasonable for the first few days. Then it went downhill slightly. Then a gale hit as we were leaving Islay. So the whole second week was any combination of cold, rainy and windy.
People said their summer was just beautiful, right up until the week before we arrived. And that it was supposed to be nice again the following week.
