Weekend Update

I was up and out of the house earlyish on saturday, to join some photographers that were exploring an abandoned factory. It's been a popular site for photogs in the last few years, and they're tearing it down now. It was kinda cool to see. But I wish I'd seen it a couple of years ago, when it was still relatively intact. Or ten years ago, when a friend and I wandered by it, and most of its buildings were still standing.

Then I came back home for a bit, before heading back down for another photowalk. This one wasn't as enjoyable to shoot, but it was good to chat with some of my photofriends.

Then I came back home in time to go back downtown (but someone else drove, this time). It was one of my whisky buddies' fortieth birthday, so we went to the Rumpus Room for dinner and Scotch whisky.

So, as usual for after a whisky event, I was moving a little slow today.
