low_delta: (boring)
Last night, I built a fire in the fire place. It was nice, though smoke came into the house a couple of times, before I thought to open a window.

I got a Usinger's sausage gift box in the mail, from a supplier. I grilled some knackwurst and some corn for supper. I burned the sausages, and the corn was tough.

I spent the previous two evenings at my mom's helping her with her computer. I installed antivirus, and cleared out a bunch of useless programs. I hope that helped - her computer was so slow.

Last weekend, we went to Indiana for a family reunion. The drive down wasn't bad. Only took six hours, with a stop. The drive back was seven hours, but it seemed to take forever (construction delays in Indiana, and we had a not-so-good meal at Bob Evans). There were more people at the reunion than usual, especially on sunday. My stepmom brought bingo (and prizes), and everyone played. That was fun. And the auction is a good time. It's nice to see some of the relatives. We stayed at the bed & breakfast with some relatives. It's a nice place, and the breakfast is awesome. On sunday morning, we had some time to kill, so we drove up to Brookville, and looked at the dam on Brookville Lake (the largest lake in Indiana). That's where the picture came from, that I posted the other day. It was a nice drive up there, through the winding and hilly roads of southern Indiana.

That's about it.

We had really good corn last night but I don't know where it was from.
Burnt sausages just have an extra carbonized kick to them.

;)

At least you didn't pay for the sausages that burned.

The skins on these get pretty crispy, apparently. Two of them were charred on one side, and two of them just split wide open. Cyn forgot to tell me to poke them first.

:-) They weren't horrible, anyway. I scraped the carbon off. *shrug*
