I was listening to Hotel California and I realized what I like about the Eagles. Joe Walsh. Their happy country rock is decent, but nothing special Hotel California has some great moments, though, and I love The Long Run. It's all Walsh. And the solos/duet on "Hotel California" are among the finest moments in rock.

When I was done with that, I moved on through the E's and came to Emerson, Lake & Palmer's Works I can't say I was excited to hear it, but I never had, and decided now was the time. I was very surprised to find Joe Walsh on that one too.

I'm pretty sure he didn't appear on Robert Fripp's Exposure, but I should probably check.

I like Hotel California, in fact I almost like this cover by Los Lobos better! It makes me appreciate the original having just heard it from this light. Check it out!

Yeah. I love his punctuation - those little clicks and pops at the end of the notes. David Gilmour does that too.

And Walsh really knows how to write a song. He never let's his guitar playing get in the way of that.

Yes, indeedy. Unfortunately, I've only seen him once, and that was with the Eagles (from way, way out in the lawn). But the part I remember the most is his rendition of Amazing Grace.
