My birthday didn't start out so hot. I was awoken at 5 am because the furnace wasn't working. Only cost $130. Work was okay. We went out to dinner at a nice place. It was good except for the French onion soup, which tricked me into splashing it all over myself. Stopped by my mom's for a gift.

Cyn gave me some more Bowie, and another early F Mac disc. I'm not picking up any new music anymore, so I'm filling in the early history of rock. Oh, and that last King Crimson disc we didn't have. And a vorpal rabbit.

Vorpal rabbit...is that a sex toy? ;)

Huh. I remember the rabbit, but "Vorpal", no. Hmmm.

You don't seem to have gotten the online b-day card I sent you. Just sayin'.

Nope. :-( But thank you for thinking of me. :-)

Oh, and "Vorpal" is probably just the geek name for it. "Vorpal" is a word made up by Lewis Carrol, in Alice In Wonderland, and was used to describe a sword. It sounds like a superlative, and the word was then adopted by D&D for a really, really sharp sword. Then applied to the bunny with the really really sharp teeth.

Sorry I missed your B day and the wonky soup, but that's part of getting old...;P
