I went by a Milwaukee landmark the other day, and since I had my camera, I decided to stop. I'm not very pleased with the picture but you can see it anyway.

I was thinking it was the inspiration for Al's Diner, from Happy Days, and it turns out I was right. It also turns out it has its own Wikipedia article. There's a (clickable) picture there that shows the front.

LJ's acting up on me.
When Ian was about 1, we took him there for his first ice cream cone. He only had a diaper on, since it was summer, and when I looked back after awhile, he was covered in ice cream and shivering. We put the heater on in the car and I gave him a hot bath before putting him to bed.

Although when I brought it up, he can't remember it to this day.
Or he's repressing the fact that we froze him to death with chocolate.
