Great list! Is it in order, with #1 being your favorite?

Let me try this, although it's going to have to be alphabetical:

Angie
Can't You Hear Me Knocking
Gimme Shelter
Love in Vain
Moonlight Mile
No Expectations
Sister Morphine
Street Fighting Man
Sympathy for the Devil
Wild Horses

Tom will love this! I am not a Stones fan and maybe it is because I hear their CDs over and over on trips!

Exactly, except I'd put "Dead Flowers" somewhere in there. The point is that they haven't put out a decent record worthy of their name and reputation since _Exile on Main Street_, over 30 years ago.

I like half of the cuts on their latest album, especially Rough Justice, but a couple of the songs are really bad. Really.

I like those choices, but I also like pretty much the entire Sticky Fingers album too.

Yeah, it's in order. Except the last four are all kinda tied. Damn, why didn't Gimme Shelter get on the list? That would be at 3, 4 or 5.

I thought about including Angie, but I decided that even though it's one of their best songs, it doesn't make my list of favorites. I'd put it in my top 20, though.

Memo from Turner is pretty cool, but I guess that one's a Mick solo tune.

You're such a heartbreaker.

My favorite record of theirs is Let it Bleed, and that or Sticky fingers was their peak. They trailed off pretty quickly after that.

Angie blows me away, every time. It's one of those rare songs that I can remember when I heard it for the first time. I was a teenager in St. Paul, driving my mom's car up the street from my house, when I heard it on the radio. I thought it sounded amazingly like Mick. Then I knew it had to BE Mick and the Stones. I had to pull over to the side of the street and let the song wash over me. It was a
real WHOA moment.

I must repeat that any Stones song is a zillion times better live. When they performed "No Expectations" for the first time in maybe decades during one of their last two tours (I'd have to look it up to be sure), a shocked hush came over the venue and we old-time fans pretty much held our breaths for the rest of the song. Another WHOA moment.

They're absolutely amazing live.

They make up for it during their incredible live performances.

If we were ever on a long road trip together, I don't think we'd argue over the CD player.

There are a whole bunch of those early psychedelic tunes that I like, like "She's A Rainbow." "Mother's Little Helper," "19th Nervous Breakdown," etc.

I also like their earlier blues records, but none of the songs stand out enough to make it onto a list.
