I just moved into a new cubicle, at work. It's going to take a little getting used to. It's a tiny bit smaller, and I'm on the left side instead of the right side. And my monitor is not in the corner. And the drawers are farther away. And I'm not facing into the corner, so there are more visual distractions. And my back is open to an aisle, so people can see what's on my monitor. And there's no coatrack up here. And the fridge is packed. And the light on my desk doesn't work.
But the "kitchen" is closer, and my new neighbor is nice, and the lighting might be better (and if not, I can change it). And all the coughing people around me are moving out of this area today.
The main thing is that I kept my cubicle immaculately clean (I hope the new occupant appreciates it). And I wish the previous occupants of this one had done the same.

yeah, that makes me one of those weird "germ hating" freaks.. but I carry those two things with me on the job. The clorox wipes are in my drawer since they tend to dissapear when they are visible, and the hand sanitizer is on my desk.. since it is on most desks here.. funeral homes should NOT be without it don't you know.
