They were predicting winds in excess of 60 mph, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were right. That was nasty. It drove the rain right under our door. It was bad enough that we took shelter in the basement. I was a little nervous about the glass in our kitchen, family room and living room. We didn't get down, though until after our tree fell.

Part of our tree. One of the big trunks broke off, about halfway up. It was heavy, so it fell straight down, and then fell over next to the house. Didn't do much damage to the flower bed. We had moved the patio set to the shed, but the tree didn't land quite where the table was anyway. Besides, it would have blown away before then.

Wow. Good luck, I guess. We had some out here, and I stood in my room, which has so many windows in it, and thought, "You're an idiot. You're going to get hit by some big tree branch while staring at the wind." We didn't get 60 mph winds though, i don't think. And 3 minutes later, it was gone.
