...with hundreds of protesters banging drums and belting out anti-bigotry slogans, much of their message was easily drowned out.Aside from the freedom fo speech issue, I'm glad the city allowed them to have their rally. The anti-KKK protesters far outnumbered and outshouted the sumpremacists. They gave a great message, not only to those people, but to all the people of the city.
Many carried signs. One read: "Go hate yourself."
"The only reason we're here is because of the good, law-abiding police officers. Because if they weren't here, these people would kill us," McQueeney said.
